Ergodic theory is the study of the qualitative properties of actions of groups on spaces. I mainly study invariants in dynamical systems such as entropy, mean dimension, orbit equivalence, and their applications in operator algebras and group theory. Recently, I focus on study rigidity behavior of topological/smooth systems. Cocycle superrigidity, homology, cohomology and tracing orbit properties play important roles in this current task.
